- Enforces standards for the construction of private wells and sewage disposal
- Issues permits and collects samples
- Investigates complaints from public hearings
- Conducts sanitarian investigations
The Keokuk County Environmental Health Specialist enforces environmental health rules and regulations according to county standards.
